The short answer
These are different categories of product. Salesforce Health Cloud is, in Salesforce’s own words, an “out-of-the-box CRM for healthcare”, licensed from £280 per user per month, billed annually. Velastria is a clinical system for aesthetic and plastic surgery clinics, priced per clinic from £35 a month with unlimited users from £75. Velastria has migrated 18,960 Salesforce leads into clinical records.
Salesforce Health Cloud figures are taken from salesforce.com Health Cloud pricing, read on 22 August 2026. Vendors change their pricing and packaging; check the source before relying on it. Velastria figures come from our own pricing page and migration records.
| Velastria | Salesforce Health Cloud | |
|---|---|---|
| What it is | A clinical practice management system for aesthetic and plastic surgery clinics: records, diary, consent, theatre, stock, finance and compliance in one product. | Described by Salesforce as an “out-of-the-box CRM for healthcare”, built on the Salesforce platform and configured to a healthcare data model. |
| Published pricing | £35 Solo, £75 Pro, £250 Business, £950 Enterprise, per clinic per month. | Health Cloud Enterprise £280, Health Cloud Unlimited £420, and Agentforce 1 for Service and for Sales £560 — each per user per month, billed annually. |
| How you are charged | Per clinic. Unlimited users from £75 a month, so adding staff does not change the bill. | Per user per month. The bill scales with headcount. |
| A five-person clinic, on published list prices | £75 a month on Pro, and the same at ten people or twenty. | £1,400 a month on Health Cloud Enterprise — 5 × £280, billed annually. |
| Billing commitment | Monthly by Direct Debit. Upgrade or downgrade at any time. | Published prices are stated as billed annually. |
| Clinical features out of the box | Consent forms, clinical photography, private prescriptions, theatre lists, stock control, ICD-10 and OPCS-4 coding, and CQC/HIS compliance, without configuration work. | Clinical and Insurance Data Models, Integrated Care Management, and Omnistudio and FlexCards are listed under Health Cloud Enterprise. |
| Migration evidence | 18,960 CRM leads migrated onto 11,182 new enquirer records, with 7,945 reconciled against people the clinic already held rather than duplicated. 13,086 arrived with a normalised procedure interest, 3,844 with Google Ads attribution intact, and 2,177 email opt-outs and 22 do-not-call flags preserved. | — |
Anyone can claim a switch is easy. Every figure in the last row of that table is counted from the migration ledger after the import finished — the record of what actually landed, reconciled row by row. None of it is read off a log line or estimated from a feature list.
See how switching from Salesforce Health Cloud works →Salesforce describes Health Cloud as an out-of-the-box CRM for healthcare, built on the Salesforce platform. Clinics often run it as the enquiry and marketing layer and keep a separate clinical system alongside it. Velastria is the clinical system, and carries the CRM inside the same product.
They scale in opposite ways. Salesforce publishes Health Cloud Enterprise at £280 per user per month, billed annually, so the bill grows with every person you add: five users is £1,400 a month on list price. Velastria publishes £75 a month for unlimited users on Pro, so five users, ten or twenty is the same £75. Both figures are list prices taken from each vendor’s own pricing page; discounts are a matter for your own negotiation.
Yes. On the last org mapped, 18,960 leads across 19,127 people imported in under 24 hours. Crucially, 7,945 leads turned out to be people the clinic already held and were reconciled rather than duplicated, and every enquiry kept the date it was actually created rather than the date it was imported.
They come across. On the last org mapped, 2,177 people had opted out of email and 22 were marked do-not-call, and those flags were carried through. That is the difference between a lawful marketing list and a regulatory problem, so it is treated as clinical data, not as a nice-to-have.
No. 3,844 leads arrived with their Google Ads attribution intact, so an advert can still be followed through to the procedure it produced from day one.
